What is a Privacy focused mobile operating system?

Modified on Sun, 05 Nov 2023 at 06:01 PM

Privacy focused mobile operating systems tend to be built from Linux or the Android Open Source Project (AOSP).

The builders of these operating systems take the base open source operating system and further ensure no vendor data (telemetry) is collected and sent back to Google or others.

Groups like GrapheneOS dedicate themselves in making their operating system as secure as possible and contribute their progress back to the community.
